Legislator of the Year Awards |
In 1999 the Kansas State Troopers Association
started a program to recognize, honor and show its' appreciation to a Legislator
for their tireless efforts in the Kansas Legislature in assisting the Kansas
State Troopers Association to improve the working conditions for the men and
women that dedicate their lives to the service and safety of the citizens of the
State of Kansas.

| State Representative Gary Hayzlett was the
first legislator to receive the Kansas State Troopers Association Legislator Of
The Year Award. Representative Hayzlett is from Lakin, Kansas and represents the
122nd District.

second legislator to receive the Kansas State Troopers Association Legislator Of
The Year Award. Representative Carl Krehbiel is from Moundridge, Kansas and
represents the 74th District. |
